● Don’t rehearse your answers in advance – conversational interviews are key to creating authentic content that connects with the viewer.
● Warm up! 10 minutes of informal chat will do the trick. Choose a subject like your career to date; it will get you talking on a work-related topic.
● Brighten up your interview wardrobe – ditch those black and white office staples for a splash of bright colour in interview. Colour works visually on film and helps to draw the audience in.
● No tech talk please!! Avoid abbreviations, acronyms and technical language, it will just make your viewer switch off.
